Militares de Maduro lanzaron bombas lacrimógenas mientras que paramilitares dispararon para dispersar a manifestantes que intentaban llegar al Puente Simón Bolívar, en San Antonio Táchira , para exigir la entrada de ayuda humanitaria, constató un equipo de AFP.
Los disturbios ocurrieron en calles de la ciudad, cuando cientos de personas se dirigían al puente, el paso peatonal más importante que une a San Antonio con la ciudad colombiana de Cúcuta, de donde salieron cargamentos de medicinas y alimentos rumbo al puente.
